Understanding Your Status
What Each Stage of Your Emirates Visa Means
Your application moves through four stages. Here is what each one means, and whether anything is needed from you.
-
01
Application Submitted
Your details and documents have reached us and your application has an ID. Nothing is needed from you here unless a document was rejected. If the panel says payment is required, the file has not joined the review queue yet.
-
02
Consultant Review
A visa adviser is reading your application against your passport before it goes anywhere near immigration — the stage where a mistyped name or an unreadable scan gets caught. It is also the last point at which most details can still be corrected.
-
03
Embassy Review
Your file is with the UAE immigration authorities and the decision is theirs alone. Nothing on our side speeds this up, and we can see no more than the stage itself. Most applications clear it within 24 to 72 hours.
-
04
Final Decision
A decision has been made and your eVisa is being issued. Once the stage reads Issued, the visa goes to the email address on your application — check your spam folder before contacting us if you cannot find it.
Checking Your Emirates Visa With the UAE Government
The tracker above covers applications filed through us. The UAE government keeps its own record of every issued visa, and you can check that directly — useful if you applied somewhere else, or you want to confirm a visa before you fly.
-
GDRFA — Visas Issued in Dubai
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs handles Dubai visas. Its application tracker asks for the email address used on the application, the application reference and, where one exists, the Emirates ID number.

ICP Smart Services — Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates
The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship covers Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Enter the application number exactly as it appears on your submission receipt.
Open ICP Smart Services
Both are government services and free to use. We are a private visa agency and are not connected to either system — a visa we filed appears there once the authorities have issued it.
If Your Status Has Not Changed
A stage that has not moved usually has an ordinary explanation.
- Payment has not cleared. An application only joins the review queue once its fee is settled, and the panel above will say so.
- A document could not be read. Check each applicant’s card for anything marked pending and upload a replacement.
- It is a weekend or a UAE public holiday. Immigration review does not run on those days and the clock pauses.
- It has been less than a working day. Standard processing is measured in working hours, not hours on a clock.
If none of these apply and more than 72 working hours have passed, contact us with your application ID and we will chase it for you.
